Boley Park Community Hall is located next to the Co-op Superstore on the Boley Park estate. It has one large room of approximately 180 sq metres and a fully equipped kitchen. It is used for many regular community activities such as exercise classes, dance classes and is the home of Boley Park Pre School.
In addition it is used regularly for birthday parties, stamp fairs, craft fairs, nearly new sales and fundraising activities for a variety of local groups.
Since its construction, Boley Park Community Hall has been run by a voluntary Management Committee of local residents and Councillors. However, at its AGM in January 2016, the Management Committee resigned.
The City Council, as owner of the building, has assumed responsibility for its day to day operation. This arrangement continues up to the present time to ensure that existing processes and procedures remain in place wherever possible, and that regular hirers are unaffected.
If you have any queries regarding the current situation, please contact Lichfield City Council on 01543 250011.
